Reminder: Hewlett-Packard (HP) has decided to discontinue its Retail Publishing Solutions (‘RPS’) organisational unit as of April 30, 2015. The decision is worldwide and therefore affects both Australia and New Zealand.
The RPS discontinuance affects all of the RPS products that are specifically in the RPS product line, (including the HP Photosmart ML1000/ML2000/PM2000 printers and HP IS1700/IS1900 Input Stations and HP Photo Centre Software) and all related support, spare parts and consumables provided by the RPS organizational unit to retailers.
This discontinuance does not affect non-RPS HP products that are not specifically included in the RPS line of products. Those products not affected are CL2000 Laser Printer, LJ9500 Printer, HP Designjet wide format printers such as Z3200/Z3100/Z2100 and the supplies for those printers.
